The Fenner Room is an intimate meeting room that can be set in various configurations based on requirements. The Fenner Room features historical artefacts that give the room a warm and inviting ambience, and is particularly suited to interview panels, private business meetings and highly-focused discussions.
The room is reached via two flights of wide, well-lit stairs.
Professor Frank John Fenner (1914–2010) was a distinguished biologist specialising in animal virology, infectious diseases and preventative medicine at the Australian National University. He was also an environmental scientist, a philanthropist and generous donor to the Academy. Professor Fenner was one of the Academy’s Foundation Fellows in 1954.
